A new quarter means a “changing of the guard,” so to speak, at YWAM Harpenden as some students head out into the world to use the skills they have acquired, and others arrive for a new season of learning!
This week was the last week for the School of Reconciliation and Justice. Check this space next week when we will have a feature on the school and what they have learned.
Beds are made and nametags are all prepared for the Teaching English as a Second Language School which starts Monday. Students will start arriving this weekend to begin training that is vastly valuable on the mission field as a door to open communications with communities of all kinds.
Two weeks remain until the start of the School of Design here at YWAM Harpenden. Staff training and preparations are underway. School leader Paul Bulgin said that there are a few new projects and opportunities the school will be undertaking this year. Trainees will get to visit some London museums for inspiration, and have a chance to design a logo and corporate identity for a pioneering YWAM ministry in London. There’s even a chance that students will get to learn the art of screen printing. Whatever they learn, you can bet that it will be full of creativity!
