There are a myriad of ways to get involved at YWAM Harpenden. You don’t have to be a full-time missionary to be a part of what we do here. In fact, you don’t even have to live in the same country! We need help of all kinds: local volunteers, Mission Builders, givers, and many more. Read on to find out how you can get involved.

Full-Time Staff

Are you called to full-time missions? We are looking for people with a wide range of talents to work with our ministries and support staff. If you have completed a Discipleship Training School, you are welcome to apply. For more specific staffing needs, visit the Staff page.

DTS

The YWAM Discipleship Training School (DTS) is an opportunity to take the leap into a deeper, more dynamic relationship with God. This 6-month foundational course gathers people who are hungry to know God and challenges them to obey His call on their lives. Find out more

Season of Service

Season of service volunteers come to us from two weeks up to six months to help in a support role on the base. Based on your skills and our needs, we will place you in catering, grounds, maintenance, or hospitality. For more information, visit the Season of Service page.

Local Volunteers

You’ve walked your dog, attended a wedding in the chapel, or visited The Oval Café. Now is your chance to go further and lend a helping hand. Skilled or unskilled, young or old, we would like to invite you to join us in serving, extending God’s kingdom, and getting a taste of what God is doing here and around the world. For more information,
e-mail volunteer@ywamharpenden.org.

Give

When you give to YWAM Harpenden, you aren’t just donating to a cause, you are partnering with work both local and global. Through your donations we are able to help orphans in Uganda, offer a place of learning for missionaries, and serve those in need in the Harpenden community.
